Connecting on Shabbat for Our Sixth Graders / Incoming Kabbalat Mitzvah Students

Our sixth graders led meaningful Shabbat services with Cantor Young on Friday evening. Rabbi London and parents joined us on Shabbat morning for a day filled with prayer, laughter, learning, s’mores and games. This is an opportunity for our sixth grade families to learn about the process of preparing for their Kabbalat Mitzvah and to delve into the meanings of this experience. Cantor Young noted that the joy of Shabbat was palpable, experiencing our 6^th graders leading Shabbat services with their friends and connecting with one another.
