Karen and her husband, Mike, joined Beth Emet in 1997, when they moved from Chicago to Wilmette. They have two amazing children, Emily and Gabe, who benefited from every aspect of Beth Emet from nursery school to B’nei Mitzvah to Kabbalat Torah and BESSY, and who now live adult Jewish lives in Chicago. Karen has been involved in many aspects of Beth Emet over the years, most recently as the synagogue’s President from 2019 to 2022.
