Rabbi Andrea London Receives Interfaith Action of Evanston’s First Community Service Award

Mazal tov and Kol Hakavod, Rabbi London!

On Sunday, October 26, in addition to the Vision Keepers nominated by their religious organizations, including Beth Emet’s own Terri Michaels (pictured here), Rabbi London was given Interfaith’s first Community Service Award for the ties she has created with her congregants, Evanston clergy, and community members across the city.

“She has exemplified that interfaith friendship is not limited to dialogue, but is most fully expressed in standing together in the pursuit of justice, the work of healing and the cultivation of hope,” wrote the Rev. Grace Imathiu, senior pastor of the First United Methodist Church.

We are beyond proud!
