Paul, his wife (Yonit Hoffman) and kids Ariella (29) and Joshua (25) have been members of Beth Emet for 20 years. Paul has been a member of the Social Action Coalition, the Racial Justice subcommittee and the Reparations Working Group over the past 5 years. Paul has over 25 years of commercial banking experience, primarily focused on small business, commercial real estate, and community development lending at LaSalle Bank, Bank of America, and now Wells Fargo. Prior to that, he served for nine years in local nonprofits doing business and real estate development in urban neighborhoods. Paul and Yonit both grew up in Michigan, although Yonit was born on an Israeli Kibbutz (Shoval). Paul has a bachelors degree (history) and JD from the University of Michigan.
