Beth Emet teen, Lila Selch, a lifelong member, spent the first half of 2023 at Heller High and will be talking about her exciting time in Israel. As part of the program, Lila took the required Jewish history class. On her own time, she attended weekly demonstrations and stayed with many different Israelis. Through these different learning opportunities, Lila examined Zionism in many forms. She will be speaking on what worked, and what didn’t, when teaching Zionism and Israel to teenagers.
