Pack the Pantry Yom Kippur Food Drive

Yom Kippur, September 25 from 9:00 – 5:00 pm

More than 2,500 Jewish individuals and families rely on the Ark’s pantries in Chicago and Northbrook for access to kosher food, personal care products, and household essentials. Forty percent of the Ark’s pantry inventory is collected through donations during the High Holy Days. Drop off your donation in the Beth Emet parking lot on Yom Kippur, September 25. Below is a list of requested items. Please note all food donations must be certified kosher and have at least six months before expiration (after March 25, 2024). The Ark does not accept Del Monte or Kirkland canned vegetables. Please do not bring any items in glass containers. Foods that do not meet the ARK’s Kosher standards, such as non-Kosher organic foods, will be redistributed to one or more area food pantries.
