Wendy Yanow (she/her) and her husband Mark Antman have been members of Beth Emet for more than 20 years. Their sons Max and Daniel attended religious school, celebrated their Kabbalat Mitzvot and remained active at Beth Emet until they left for college. The synagogue community has served a central role in their lives; Max is a rabbinical student at HUC and Daniel – an architectural designer – remains close with the friends he met at B.E. and OSRUI. In her previous tenure on the B.E. Board, Wendy served on the Nominating Committee and has also co-facilitated workshops and discussions around race, whiteness and being Jewish. She is a racial healing and anti-racism, equity consultant-facilitator and is a member of Adult Learning Unleashed, educator/consultants leveraging justice and equity through learning.
