Jodi Portnoy is honored to bring her experience from service on two other nonprofit boards and work in Jewish community nonprofit to the Beth Emet Board. She and her husband David joined the community after moving to Evanston in 2005. Sons Albert (19) and Evan (16) attended Beit Sefer and had their B’nai Mitzvah at Beth Emet; Evan is active in BESSY and went on the L’Taken advocacy trip last year.
Jodi grew up in St. Louis. She earned a B.A. from Washington University and an MBA from the University of Chicago. After over 20 years in strategic roles at Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association, about 18 months ago she joined CJE SeniorLife where she is now VP and chief strategy officer. In her free time, Jodi enjoys cooking, singing, traveling, and Zumba.
