My name is Edward Linn and my family and I have been members of Beth Emet since 1982. For over 40 plus years, I have been a practicing obstetrician/gynecologist and was Chairman of the Departments of Ob/Gyn at Rush University Medical Center, Cook County Health and Hospitals System & Advocate Lutheran General Hospital. Since my retirement in 2020, I have spent the majority of my time consulting and participating in educational programs about the COVID-19 pandemic and associated vaccination issues through the Covid Task Force of the Chicago Medical Society, the University of Chicago ECHO educational programs, and as a member of the IDPH sponsored I-VAC programs. I am currently the Chair of the Skokie Board of Health. I was recently appointed to the Board of the International Museum of Surgical Sciences in Chicago where I serve as a volunteer educator and docent. Beginning this coming September, I will begin serving on the Board of Trustees of the Michael Reese Health Trust. I am an avid Chicago sports fan and enjoy taking classes on a wide variety of subjects. My wife Barbara and I are the proud parents of Stephanie (Seth Krantz) and Robin (Jason Saldanha) who are members of Beth Emet and devoted grandparents of Sam, Jake, Ellie, and Max who are all enrolled in the Beth Emet educational programs.
