Andy was born in Chicago but grew up in bunches of places (including 3 different high schools). He attended the University of Illinois and moved back to the Chicago area, where he started his Jewish education as an adult and converted over 25 years ago. Andy is married to Shelli Patt, and they started to attend Kahal services at Beth Emet when Shelli was a teacher at Beth Emet’s preschool. Andy and Shelli have two sons, Josh and Roni. Andy is a 4th Grade teacher at Solomon Schechter Day School and is looking forward to contributing to the Board.
