Please join Beth Emet’s Team for Interfaith Action’s 7th Annual Walk for Warmth.
We honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., on this day of service. The walk helps raise awareness of homelessness in or community. Your donation supports Interfaith Action’s programs including the overnight shelter.
Advance registration is required. You can sign up even if you’re unsure that you’ll attend. This is a family-friendly event and people of all ages are welcome. To register to walk and/or donate, click here. Be sure to select Beth Emet as your community. Registration is free.
We’ll first meet inside First United Methodist Church for a short program. The forecast for Monday is very cold, so we will likely only walk around the block or, of course, you may leave right after the short program.
Whether in person or in spirit through a donation, you can help raise awareness and provide a warm, safe, and welcoming place for our unhoused neighbors to sleep on cold nights. The shelter was housed in Beth Emet for three weeks this winter. Let’s keep it going!
Hope to see you there!
