Beth Emet will hold a special hybrid congregational meeting to vote on the nomination of Rabbi Brian Immerman as our next Senior Rabbi. This hybrid meeting will take place in the Sanctuary and also via Zoom link. Please contact the office for the link if you plan to attend by Zoom.
According to our Constitution and Bylaws, the Senior Rabbi is chosen by a simple majority of members present at a special congregational meeting. Every adult member in good standing who is present at the meeting, either in person or virtually, may vote at that time. (We have no constitutional provision for absentee ballots, early voting, or proxy votes.) We have prepared a reference page about Rabbi Immerman on the website, here.
