Lauren Reeves

Lauren Reeves (she/her/hers) is dedicated to creating meaningful and accessible Jewish learning experiences for learners of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds as the Director of Lifelong Learning. She specializes in family education, interactive and experiential learning, and community-building programs.

Lauren previously served as the Director of Education at the Jewish Reconstructionist Congregation as well as in leadership roles at Temple Sholom of Chicago, KAM Isaiah Israel, and The Temple of Atlanta. With a background in public health communications, Lauren’s passion for Jewish education led her back to congregational life, where she fosters engaging, dynamic learning environments. Lauren is active in professional networks with her colleagues around the country, including the Chicago Area Reform Jewish Educators, the Association of Reform Jewish Educators, and the Mandel Teacher Educator Institute. She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Jewish Education at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion. Originally from the Chicago suburbs, Lauren holds a BA from Emory University and an MPA from Georgia State University. She, her husband, Rabbi Frederick Reeves, and their children enjoy reading, biking, and exploring Evanston.
