Interested in Being Considered for BE’s Board of Trustees? Inquire Within!

The Nominating Committee (NomCom) is creating an opportunity for members who may wish to be considered for the Board to to express their interest by filling out a form or reaching out to us.

The Secret to Sustaining Beth Emet

It takes more than our esteemed clergy and capable professional staff to guide and sustain Beth Emet. Your fellow congregants, including the Board of Trustees, help the congregation fulfill its mission through policy decisions, stewardship, and initiatives focused on membership, development, and programming.

The Opportunity

Board members serve no more than three consecutive one-year terms, which means that every year some need to be replaced by additional congregants ready to spread their wings and help shape and support Beth Emet. A NomCom is created annually with accountability for filling the available Board seats. Their challenge: Recommend a slate of qualified candidates to represent our membership’s skills, backgrounds, interests, and demographic composition.

The Ask

Do you think you may be interested in sharing your time, talents, and leadership as part of the Board of Trustees? If so, please let us know by clicking here and completing the short form.

Submitting this form is not a commitment: it’s a way for the NomCom to learn about you and open the door for discussions, whether now or in the future. By the same token, we cannot promise that everyone who confirms interest will be asked to join immediately, based on the available seats and types of members needed to balance the Board right now.

Have more questions? Email NomComBE@Gmail.com or reach out directly to NomCom co-chairs Samantha Nidenberg and Andy Rocklin. We look forward to hearing from you!
