  • Kabbalat Torah & Gesher ceremony

The Shabbat when we celebrate our 7th grade Gesher students and 12th grade Kabbalat Torah class is a beloved moment honoring our next generation of Jewish learners and leaders. During the service, our graduating seniors will share reflections on what Beth Emet and Judaism mean to them as they prepare for the next chapter of their lives. The 7th graders mark the culmination of their Gesher year, witnessing the older students model Jewish engagement in high school. After the service, Gesher families gather for a brief ceremony where students share what they’ve learned about how Judaism and community can guide them as they grow. This meaningful evening highlights the continuity of Jewish learning from childhood through young adulthood.
