Help The Soup Kitchen Guests Stay Warm This Winter!

The phones at Beth Emet are ringing off the hook with guests asking if the Beth Emet Soup Kitchen will be holding its Winter Coat and Accessory Drive this year. Of course we are, but we need your help!

We welcome your donations of new and gently used/freshly cleaned adult-sized coats and winter accessories. Coats are especially needed! The emphasis is on quality over quantity; please no discount store acrylic items as they do not keep fingers and heads warm. Your generosity is most appreciated!

Adult items needed by December 5:

  1. Women’s gloves, mittens and hats- all sizes
  2. Men’s gloves- size medium only
  3. Warm scarves for both men and women
  4. Winter boots for both men and women- all sizes
  5. Warm coats- all sizes, especially men’s and women’s XL, XXL, and XXXL

Collection bins are at the following locations

  1. Beth Emet- Inside the vestibule of the west entrance (parking lot)
    1. Sundays November 20 and December 4 from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
