Ben Shalom joins Beth Emet as the Facility and Technology Manager, bringing a diverse background in real estate, operations, construction, facility management, technology, and organizational leadership. Throughout his career, Ben has managed properties, supported complex operations, developed systems and processes, and helped teams work more efficiently. His experience in real estate and hospitality operations has given him a strong understanding of how thoughtful planning, prioritization, preventative maintenance, and strong relationships create safe, successful, and welcoming environments.
Through his work with a nationwide hospitality company and his real estate experience, Ben has developed a passion for building strong teams, creating sustainable systems, and finding practical solutions to everyday challenges. He believes that great organizations are built through leadership, collaboration, clear communication, and attention to the details that often happen behind the scenes.
Ben lives in Skokie with his wife and two children. He is excited to bring his hands-on approach, operational experience, and commitment-to-service to the Beth Emet community.
