Conversation About Antisemitism at School

April 12 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am

  • This event has passed.

In conjunction with our Zachor Project photo exhibit, we will have a complementary conversation for adults during Beit Sefer about antisemitism. Rabbi Toby Manewith and Director of Lifelong Learning Lauren Reeves will talk about the antisemitism that many school-age children are encountering today. We will discuss how parents can respond when their child shares these experiences, ways to support children emotionally, and strategies for communicating effectively with schools when incidents occur. After this conversation, parents along with 5th-7th grade learners will visit a photo exhibit featuring Holocaust survivors and how their stories implore us to continue combatting hate and injustice.

This event is 10:30 am to 11:30 am. In-person only.
