We invite you to be with our young learners for a very special event marking the start of a child’s formal Jewish learning. Our Consecration program honors kindergarten learners and new 1st and 2nd grade learners as they take an important step into Beit Sefer and into a lifelong relationship with Jewish learning, community, and Torah. This meaningful ceremony will include receiving a first taste of Torah, celebrating each child’s Hebrew name, and being formally welcomed by our community. Consecration is both a joyful and sacred moment, recognizing that learning itself is holy.
The ceremony will begin in the sanctuary, followed by a festive dinner. We look forward to celebrating this milestone together!
Dinner is generously paid for by Beth Emet’s funds for education. If you would like to make a donation to honor your child being consecrated, please click here.
