Beth Emet - The Free Synagogue

Beth Emet is a diverse, multigenerational Reform community with a dynamic approach to Judaism. Our congregation seeks to create a spiritually vibrant, socially conscious, intellectually challenging, and deeply caring environment firmly rooted in Jewish tradition and values.

Mishkan HaNefesh

Beth Emet uses the Mishkan HaNefesh, Machzor for the Days of Awe on Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur.

Drawing deep from Jewish history, thought, music, and interpretation to bridge the personal and the communal, and the ritual and the ethical dimensions of the Yamin Nora'im (High Holidays), this machzor recognizes the diverse Reform Judaism community to provide meaningful liturgy to those who pray regularly while welcoming those who are new to Jewish spirituality and practice.

Order your set today for $45

To order, email the Beth Emet office or call 847-869-4230 ext. 301. If you have ordered the machzor, you may pick up in the Beth Emet office today or when you arrive for holiday worship (please allow for extra time if you will be picking up prior to services).
