The b’rachah (blessing) is one of the great literary achievements of the rabbinic tradition. HaMotzi, Shehecheyanu, and other blessings have a broad appeal for many Jews. In this class, we will explore the history, meanings, and abiding power of this accessible and flexible building block of Jewish prayer and life.
