Shabbat Connections provides a complete Shabbat dinner on a weekly basis to members in the Beth Emet community.
Recipients may be those who are suffering from illness, are homebound, had a recent death in the family, had a new baby or have recently moved.
Shabbat Connections is seeking new volunteers to help prepare a meal and bring it to a Beth Emet family on Friday afternoon. Our volunteer cooks/drivers are the ones who make this program possible. The time commitment, whether on a regular basis throughout the year, or just once or twice a year, may be small, but the mitzvah itself and the thanks from recipients long after their meal was delivered, are much more.
