Beth Emet - The Free Synagogue

Beth Emet is a diverse, multigenerational Reform community with a dynamic approach to Judaism. Our congregation seeks to create a spiritually vibrant, socially conscious, intellectually challenging, and deeply caring environment firmly rooted in Jewish tradition and values.

Jr. Choir for web

This choir is open to students in grades three though six of all abilities and musical levels--no prior singing experience is necessary. The Junior Choir meets from 9-9:30 on Sundays before Beit Sefer. We sing for special Friday night services, concerts, Purim Shpiel, and we also perform at assisted living facilities as mitzvah projects. The choir will focus on basic learning of how to use their voices, breathe properly for singing, and how to sing with other people to meld voices with their neighbors while listening to create a cohesive sound. We will sing settings of the prayers in our Friday night and Saturday morning services.

Please contact Cantor Susan Lewis Friedman for more information or to sign up.
