SUMMARY:BE Noar teen program for 8th-11th graders
DESCRIPTION:BE Noar is our program for for 8th-11th graders. BE Noar participants learn from a variety of teachers such as Rabbi Brian Immerman\, Director of Lifelong Learning Lauren Reeves\, RJE\, Beit Sefer teacher Rabbi Toby Manewith\, and other guest leaders on a variety of topics such as reparations\, Jewish food\, Jewish ethics\, Israel\, and more. \nWe also want the topics to be driven by what the group wants to learn! We ask teens for their input on what they want to learn\, so we can shape lessons and activities around their interests. We emphasize experiential and in-depth learning in our BE Noar classes! \nBE Noar does not meet every week\, recognizing the many activities in which Beth Emet teens are involved. In this way\, we hope that teens can “walk the walk” in integrating their Jewish involvement with the rest of their interests.
