SUMMARY:Baking a Difference
DESCRIPTION:Baking a Difference is a hands-on afternoon for children Kindergarten–7th grade and their grownups\, held right after Beit Sefer. Families will roll out sugar cookie dough\, decorate with sprinkles\, bake\, and package the cookies for members of our community in need of a little sweetness this Chanukah. Lunch is a quick pizza\, pasta\, and salad\, and the bakers get to nibble on some cookies for themselves. It’s a relaxed way for families to meet one another and make a real difference together. \nThe cost is $8 per person\, which covers lunch\, and we’ll take care of everything else. \nRSVP to reserve your family’s spot.\nWhat to know\n\nLunch is pizza\, pasta\, and salad\nThe sugar cookies are made with wheat\, eggs\, butter\, and sugar\, so please note any allergies\nExpect flour and sprinkles everywhere. Dress for mess\, and consider bringing an apron or a change of clothes for your little bakers.\nMost of the cookies will go to members of our Beth Emet or larger community in need. Kids can enjoy a cookie or two.
