DESCRIPTION:We read about the migrant crisis in the U.S. We increasingly see migrants on the streets of Evanston\, Wilmette\, Chicago\, and wherever we travel.  Even when you come to Beth Emet\, you often find a family on the corner of Dempster and Ridge\, rain or shine\, asking for money. You wonder what you can be doing and/or how you can volunteer.  This Monday at the May Social Justice Task Force gathering\, we will hear from representatives of Refugee One\, JCUA (Jewish Council for Urban Affairs) and SaLT Wilmette Migrant Response\, who will not only provide an update and the work they’re doing but will offer ways in which we as a community can get involved.  Find your voice.
