DESCRIPTION:Soon the building will be full of laughter\, costumes\, delicious treats… and too many games to count! If you have kids\, grandkids\, neighbors’ kids… we’ll take them all! Homemade lunches ($8) will be served in the Weiner Room. The carnival is a fundraiser hosted by BESSY (Beth Emet’s Senior Synagogue Youth) program. \nParents pick up their Beit Sefer students at noon and join them at the carnival. Kids will need a wristband that is good for all games and prizes. Wristbands will be available for advance purchase and pick up at the front office. Wristbands will also be available for purchase at the carnival – we recommend purchasing and picking up early so you have as much play time as possible! Come ready to play\, sing\, share stories\, and maybe even get to sponge a staff member! Parents and teens! We still have room for volunteers! Reach out to Claire with any questions.

The program is designed to bring together an intergenerational cohort with a wide range of experiences\, knowledge\, and perspectives to learn with and from each other. She was the North American Director of Academic Affairs for Tel Aviv University and was the recipient of Hillel International’s Exemplar of Excellence Award for her commitment to social justice and tikkun olam. She has held leadership positions in major Jewish organizations\, including Project Otzma and the JCRC of Greater Boston.
