DESCRIPTION:Members of Beth Emet\, Temple Beth Israel\, Congregation Hakafa\, and Oak Park Temple have been working together to provide Kibbutz Kissufim with the financial resources for six months of much-needed ongoing trauma counseling and related activities for the community’s children.  On Saturday\, February 3\, at 12:30 pm Central time\, we will hear a live update by Zoom from members of Kissufim\, including about their current circumstances\, challenges and hopes\, and thoughts about what the future may hold. Following this presentation\, there will be a Q and A session moderated by Rabbi Andrea London using pre-submitted questions by congregants of the four synagogues. \nWhile all our congregants are invited to sign on individually to the Zoom call\, following Kahal services on Saturday morning we will also have a large screen display in the Weiner Room of the conversation. She holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Michigan\, and taught Hebrew language\, literature\, and religious studies in Michigan for twenty-five years.
