SUMMARY:6th Annual Walk for Warmth (Sponsored by Interfaith Action of Evanston)
DESCRIPTION:Mark your calendars for the 6th annual Walk for Warmth\, sponsored by Interfaith Action of Evanston! We invite you to walk with us for Interfaith Action of Evanston’s Walk for Warmth on Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service. Register for walking with the Beth Emet walking group and make your donations here. \nWe are a physical embodiment of Dr.King’s vision of the beloved community. His commitment to service is reflected in the route we take past the many faith communities that house Interfaith Action’s overnight shelter in rotation. The walk helps raise awareness of homelessness in our community. Your donation supports Interfaith Actions programs\, including the overnight shelter. \n  \n

SUMMARY:Shiur B'internet
DESCRIPTION:We offer an alternative virtual class for those students who cannot attend Beit Sefer on Thursdays\, either due to driving distance or a major year-long conflict on Thursday afternoons. In addition to attending classes on Sundays\, these students will also participate in an online class on Monday evenings. \nRegistration is limited and permission from the Director of Lifelong Learning is required prior to registration. Shiur B’internet ensures that all Beth Emet Beit Sefer students engage in Hebrew learning twice a week.
