Susan FisherSusan Fisher is celebrating more than 18 years as a member of Beth Emet. In so many ways, Beth Emet has served as her sanctuary, a place of comfort and joy, a source of wisdom and, frankly, fun. Among the many chai-lights, she celebrated the bar mitzvahs of both of her now-grown sons, Max and Alex, as well as her own adult bat mitzvah. She has served in numerous synagogue committees and initiatives, including co-chairing the Rabbi Selection Committee and serving on the board of trustees previously. Susan lives in Wilmette with her husband Jonathan, whom she loves to see perform in Beth Emet's always delightful Purim spiels.
