OFFICERS AND TRUSTEES TO SERVE IN 2018-2019 (5778-5779)
In accordance with the Beth Emet Constitution and By-laws, the Nominating Committee is pleased to recommend the following Officers and Trustees as the slate for election to the Board at the Beth Emet Synagogue Annual Meeting on Wednesday, May 9, 2018.

In addition to the above named individuals proposed by the Nominating Committee, please note the following relating to the Board’s composition:
First, the Synagogue’s By-laws provide that the President can appoint additional individual(s) to the Board of Trustees. Those appointments, subject to consultation with and approval by Board, are expected to formally take place in mid-May.
Next, the Memorandum of Understanding entered into with the former Temple Menorah provides for the inclusion of one or more members of that community on the Beth Emet Board. Mark Zaltman, a former senior lay leader at Temple Menorah, who has been active participant at Beth Emet for the last several years, has agreed to serve in that role.
And finally, Jeff Mann, President of the Beth Emet Foundation (and a past Treasurer, Board member and Officer), will continue to serve as a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees.
