Beth Emet is a diverse, multigenerational Reform community with a dynamic approach to Judaism. Our congregation seeks to create a spiritually vibrant, socially conscious, intellectually challenging, and deeply caring environment firmly rooted in Jewish tradition and values.

3:30–5:30 pm on Shabbat afternoons (Watch for dates beginning late fall 2015)
This class meets at Rabbi London's home.

This is a program for those interested in deepening their spiritual life in a Jewish context. We read articles on Jewish theology and explore various Jewish spiritual practices. This program combines prayer, meditation, study and discussion, particularly emphasizing the teachings of early Hasidism and the practice of meditation. We meet once a month on Shabbat afternoon for seudah shlishit (the third meal of Shabbat) and conclude our time together with Havdallah. Please bring a vegetarian food item to share.

New participants are always welcome.

Free for members (please register); $50 non-member fee

To register contact Eric Berman or 847-869-4230 ext. 308.
